Who Are the NoLaNauts?
THE NoLaNauts are a 10-piece funk collective and the architects of the "Party Gras" experience — a mission to ensure that every show is a rollicking Mardi Gras celebration. Based in Albany, NY, the ensemble features a multi-generational lineup built on a specific New Orleans pedigree: brass in the vein of Trombone Shorty, piano textures reminiscent of Dr. John, and the syncopated guitar and rhythm interplay of The Meters and Galactic.
Since their debut at The Linda WAMC's Performing Arts Studio, the Nauts have been lighting up venues and festival stages across the Northeast. They've played to 20,000+ at Schenectady Summer Night opening for Arrested Development, headlined The Palace Theater, Cohoes Music Hall, and Lark Hall, shared stages with New Orleans legends Glen David Andrews and John "Papa" Gros, and brought second-line parades into the streets of cities that didn't know they needed one. In 2026 they join Albany's Alive at Five — and they're just getting started.
After releasing debut original singles "Early Warning" and "Neutral Ground," the band has four new singles set for release in 2026. It's always Party Gras with the NoLaNauts.
